About this race
Forget the clubs — Ibiza in April is all about the running. This spring half loops around Ibiza Town, past the UNESCO-listed Dalt Vila walls and along a stretch of turquoise coastline you won't forget in a hurry.
The race
The Santa Eulària Ibiza Marathon weekend is the island's flagship running event, offering a full marathon, half, 10K and a family 5K across the same weekend. Around 3,500 runners take part, with an expo at Passeig s'Alamera and a beachfront finish line party.
The course
The half marathon starts in Santa Eulària des Riu and follows the coast road south towards Cala Llonga and Roca Llisa, with sweeping views over the Med and Formentera in the distance. There are two meaningful climbs of around 40 m each — this is a scenic course rather than a flat PB attempt.

The destination
Santa Eulària is Ibiza's quieter east-coast town — a long marina, an artisan hippy market at Las Dalias, and Michelin-recommended restaurants along the seafront. Ibiza Town and Dalt Vila's UNESCO walls are a 20-minute drive south for a pre-race wander.
Climate & race-day weather
Spring on Ibiza is beautiful for running: 12°C at dawn, 18–20°C by noon, dry, sunny and a fraction of summer's crowds. The sea is a chilly 16°C — walking-in only for post-race recovery.
Getting there
Ibiza (IBZ) is a 20-minute taxi from Santa Eulària. Direct flights from London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and Edinburgh start ramping up from late March.
